CCE Hospitality always has something in the works because our PTA LOVES our CCE faculty and staff.

Sunshine Committee

Did you know that the PTA organizes and sends a birthday card with a gift card to each of our staff members throughout the year on their birthdays? It's just a small way to let them know that we think they are special and worth being celebrated on their special days!

Friday Feasts

Teacher and Staff Friday Feasts are hosted and served by our PTA six times throughout the school year.  The PTA Hospitality Team works with local restaurants to cater a lunch for our staff, and our grade level Room Parents will also help set up, serve and clean up these celebrations.

October 11 - 5th grade serving Torchys

November 1 - 4th grade 

January 17 - 3rd grade 

February 14 - 2nd grade

March 7 - 1st grade

April 11 - kindergarten

Special Appreciation Days

We like to drop in every now and then with a special celebration day for our staff, just for fun. This year, we are treating them to : 

Sonic Happy Hour - August 16, 2024 and March 25, 2025

National Coffee Day - September 30, 2024

National Popcorn Day - January 22, 2025

Thanksgiving Pies

What better way to show gratitude and to give thanks in November than the gift of pie!  With your donation of a store-bought or homemade pie, we hope to give every CCE staff member a pie to take home for the Thanksgiving holiday.

Staff Cookie Exchange

In December, PTA organizes a cookie exchange for the teachers. We ask our CCE families to donate store-bought or homemade cookies for the teachers to select and take home with them on the last day of school before winter break! This is always a really fun way to spoil our CCE faculty and staff after a full semester of learning.

STAAR Snacks

PTA provides snacks each spring to our staff who are administering the STAAR test. It's a long day for our test administrators, so we want to make sure they are fresh and energized!

Teacher Appreciation Week

Teacher Appreciation Week is a nationwide, week-long celebration of our teachers. PTA pulls out all the stops to really go the extra mile to celebrate our CCE faculty and staff. And they deserve every bit of it. Each day of teacher appreciation week has a different treat for them. From coffee carts, to treats from local restaurants, to catered lunches, to the famous staff RAFFLE, where every staff member wins an item, we want them to feel so loved and supported after this special week. 

Teacher Appreciation Week falls on May 5-May 9, 2025 and we will need LOTS of volunteers to pull of this fantastic week.
